The annual h+h americas in Rosemont, IL is the premier event for the North American Handicraft Industry and the sister event of h+h cologne (Germany), the world’s largest trade fair for the crafts sector.

Designed for the B2B community, this trade show is unique as it offers a physical trade show in combination with a digital marketplace open to any professionals of the crafts industry. Unlike other events, h+h americas operates without any membership restrictions and offers seasonal products and services to the entire crafts sector carefully timed for buyers in May 2024.

Downtown Evanston is excited to host Thursday Night Markets, a monthly, fun-filled evening featuring a variety of artists, makers, and retail shops, music by DJ Johnny Price and craft beer from Smylie Brothers Brewing Co. The final markets is September 1 from 4-8pm at Fountain Square.

Bring the family to browse the artist tents and dance at Fountain Square followed by dinner or a sweet treat at a nearby restaurant.

Butterscotch Sewing will be making its Markets for Makers debut at Chicago Summer Market July 23rd - July 24th. The market will be open 11am-5pm each day and will feature 85+ independent makers.

Butterscotch Sewing will be part of the Evanston Arts & Crafts Beverage Crawl!!

Evanston Made and the Main Dempster Mile (MDM) are combining to bring you amazing local art and delicious locally made craft beverages, at the Evanston Arts & Craft Beverage Crawl on Thursday, May 19th!

ABOUT THIS EVENT:

Visit pop-up art galleries in stores all over Main, Dempster and Chicago Avenue! While you’re there, try tastings of Sketchbook beer, FEW Spirits and Kombucha Brava.

YOUR TICKET COVERS:

Three hours of inspiring local artists’ work, delicious MDM boozy beverages and fun food pairings, a goody bag, some live entertainment along the way, and our undying gratitude!

One hundred percent of profits for this event will benefit Evanston Made! Click here to purchase tickets!

Online tickets available through May 18 ($30)

Tickets WILL be available at the door on May 19 ($35)

TICKET CHOICES:

Main Street East (featuring 8-12 tasting stops on or near the intersection of Main & Chicago)

Main Street West (featuring 8-12 tasting stops on Main and Chicago Avenue , mostly west of the tracks)

Dempster Street (featuring 8-12 tasting stops on Dempster Street and Chicago Avenue)

YOU MUST STAY IN YOUR TICKET AREA UNTIL 6:30pm and then you are welcome to visit any participating stop you like on the Craft Crawl map.

Butterscotch Sewing will be in Ten Thousand Villages which is part of the Main Street East group.

COVID SAFETY EXPECTATIONS:

Pending real time information, we may require proof of vaccination to participate in this event.

If a particular store has capacity limits for the evening, we expect Craft Crawlers to respect them.

Full refunds are available until 7 days prior the event (May 12)

Outdoors, in a covered parking garage, this market features hundreds of unique and one-of-a-kind, handmade goods like art, craft, wearables, jewelry, stationary, handbags, etc.
